It is and abstract expressionist painting with dark colors of purples, reds, greens and splashes of pink and yellow-green. Acrylic on professional depth canvas with painted edges for easy frame-free hanging. Deception is often hard to detect. When we think something is beautiful and right, then when we realize things are not as we thought, it is very ugly.
